Beautiful Wales

It is such a beautiful country. I honestly thought that Wales was connected with England sort of as one country. I was wrong; Wales is it's own country. Did I already mention it is beautiful? We took a ferry to from Ireland to Wales. We visited Beaumaris Castle. It is a very cool castle in a very cute and lovely, small town.

On our way to Cardiff, we stopped in a town in Snowdonia. It was one of the most beautiful towns I've seen in Wales. When we arrived in Cardiff where we were able to visit Cardiff Castle. It was one of the coolest looking castles. I don't know if you did this when you were younger, but when I was younger I used to draw castles with those square design that emphasizes that it is a
castle. This castle looked just like it. It was very cool!

Another place we toured was St. Fagan's National Historic Museum. It was very interesting because it is this big museum where inside,
there are collections of Welsh things that are on display. Outside, there are homes and farmlands that show how the Welsh people live and used to live. It was very interesting!

Our last place to visit in Wales was Tintern Abbey. It is such a lovely, old place that was overwhelming in ruins that sadly, I couldn't get the entire abbey into my picture frame.

I am loving this study abroad trip. It is truly enjoyable to get to see and experience this opportunity to travel and learn of all of the things that are in this world.
